Below, we’ve listed what are the most commonly asked questions as well as any information we think may help you in watching live racing online! This guide applies to both horse and greyhound races.

How does the live streaming work?
Live streaming, is the ability to take a television or satellite signal and re-broadcast it over the internet. Much like YouTube, this requires no actual downloading and the video will play back as it happens to your web browser or internet enabled device. Several bookmakers have now purchased the legal rights to selected racecourses and events from channels such as ATR or RUK and from this, provide race fans with daily streaming of the latest fixtures.

To watch any live stream, you simply need a broadband connection or higher. Most users in the UK will have at least 4mb connections through their ISPs and this is more than enough to make use of live video. Note that “live streaming” as it is advertised by bookmakers and services, may in fact have a delay of roughly 2-8 seconds in delivering the picture to you although this can vary.
